As soon as the session started today, speaker asked the CM to introduce the trust vote in the house. The trust vote was introduced in the house by the CM without any delay.
There was complete chaos in the assembly. At 5:30 am speaker had dismissed 11 BJP MLAs and 5 Independent MLAs who had submitted their support withdrawal letter to the Governor.
Now these people were cleverly dismissed by the speaker using the anti-defection law of 10th schedule, which gives the speaker power to dismiss a MLA if he is found be going against his party.
Now this section has been used by parties many times before in the past, but the most innovative use was to use against the Independent MLAs. I think it is the first time ever that Independent MLAs have been dismissed in such a way.
Anti-defection law also says that if an Independent MLA is found to have been joined any political party and the speaker is convinced of this thing, then the speaker can disqualify the MLA. This was very intelligently used by the speaker. Since many of the defecting MLAs were ex-ministers in the BJP govt., the BJP have got ample amount of proofs in this context to show that they had joined the party.The matter is now in high court and will take considerable amount of time for the judgment.
As soon as the trust motion was introduced the speaker asked for the "voice vote".
Now in voice vote the member need to raise their hands and a general majority is seen by the speaker.
The speaker asked the MLAs who were in favor of trust vote, BJP MLAs raised their hands.
then speaker for MLAs who were against the motion. Now their was so much chaos in the house that none of the opposition MLA raised his hand.
The speaker declared that the CM has won the trust vote with margin of 106:0 and in 2 mins BJP came wining through the trust vote!!
None of the member asked for the vote count. Instead of shouting, if they would have used little bit of their head and even if a single member would have asked the speaker to arrange a vote count it would have been a all together different scenario now.
Opposition has cried foul in the whole episode.Governor in his report to centre has recommended President's rule in the state.
Need to see if it will be invoked in KA, but till then it has been well played BJP well played Speaker !!

मधुशाला
मृदु भावों के अंगूरों की आज बना लाया हाला,
प्रियतम, अपने ही हाथों से आज पिलाऊँगा प्याला,
पहले भोग लगा लूँ तेरा फिर प्रसाद जग पाएगा,
सबसे पहले तेरा स्वागत करती मेरी मधुशाला।
मदिरालय जाने को घर से चलता है पीनेवला,
'किस पथ से जाऊँ?' असमंजस में है वह भोलाभाला,
अलग-अलग पथ बतलाते सब पर मैं यह बतलाता हूँ -
'राह पकड़ तू एक चला चल, पा जाएगा मधुशाला।'
चलने ही चलने में कितना जीवन, हाय, बिता डाला!
'दूर अभी है', पर, कहता है हर पथ बतलानेवाला,
हिम्मत है न बढूँ आगे को साहस है न फिरुँ पीछे,
किंकर्तव्यविमूढ़ मुझे कर दूर खड़ी है मधुशाला।
सुन, कलकल़ , छलछल़ मधुघट से गिरती प्यालों में हाला,
सुन, रूनझुन रूनझुन चल वितरण करती मधु साकीबाला,
बस आ पहुंचे, दुर नहीं कुछ, चार कदम अब चलना है,
चहक रहे, सुन, पीनेवाले, महक रही, ले, मधुशाला।
धर्मग्रन्थ सब जला चुकी है, जिसके अंतर की ज्वाला,
मंदिर, मसजिद, गिरिजे, सब को तोड़ चुका जो मतवाला,
पंडित, मोमिन, पादिरयों के फंदों को जो काट चुका,
कर सकती है आज उसी का स्वागत मेरी मधुशाला।
बिना पिये जो मधुशाला को बुरा कहे, वह मतवाला,
पी लेने पर तो उसके मुह पर पड़ जाएगा ताला,
दास द्रोहियों दोनों में है जीत सुरा की, प्याले की,
विश्वविजयिनी बनकर जग में आई मेरी मधुशाला।
एक बरस में, एक बार ही जगती होली की ज्वाला,
एक बार ही लगती बाज़ी, जलती दीपों की माला,
दुनियावालों, किन्तु, किसी दिन आ मदिरालय में देखो,
दिन को होली, रात दिवाली, रोज़ मनाती मधुशाला।
दुतकारा मस्जिद ने मुझको कहकर है पीनेवाला,
ठुकराया ठाकुरद्वारे ने देख हथेली पर प्याला,
कहाँ ठिकाना मिलता जग में भला अभागे काफिर को?
शरणस्थल बनकर न मुझे यदि अपना लेती मधुशाला।
मुसलमान औ' हिन्दू है दो, एक, मगर, उनका प्याला,
एक, मगर, उनका मदिरालय, एक, मगर, उनकी हाला,
दोनों रहते एक न जब तक मस्जिद मन्दिर में जाते,
बैर बढ़ाते मस्जिद मन्दिर मेल कराती मधुशाला!
मेरे शव पर वह रोये, हो जिसके आंसू में हाला
आह भरे वो, जो हो सुरिभत मदिरा पी कर मतवाला,
दे मुझको वो कान्धा जिनके पग मद डगमग होते हों
और जलूं उस ठौर जहां पर कभी रही हो मधुशाला।
नाम अगर कोई पूछे तो, कहना बस पीनेवाला
काम ढालना, और ढालना सबको मदिरा का प्याला,
जाति प्रिये, पूछे यदि कोई कह देना दीवानों की
धर्म बताना प्यालों की ले माला जपना मधुशाला।
यम ले चलता है मुझको तो, चलने दे लेकर हाला,
चलने दे साकी को मेरे साथ लिए कर में प्याला,
स्वर्ग, नरक या जहाँ कहीं भी तेरा जी हो लेकर चल,
ठौर सभी हैं एक तरह के साथ रहे यदि मधुशाला।
यह मदिरालय के आँसू हैं, नहीं-नहीं मादक हाला,
यह मदिरालय की आँखें हैं, नहीं-नहीं मधु का प्याला,
किसी समय की सुखदस्मृति है साकी बनकर नाच रही,
नहीं-नहीं किव का हृदयांगण, यह विरहाकुल मधुशाला।
बड़े-बड़े नाज़ों से मैंने पाली है साकीबाला,
किलत कल्पना का ही इसने सदा उठाया है प्याला,
मान-दुलारों से ही रखना इस मेरी सुकुमारी को,
विश्व, तुम्हारे हाथों में अब सौंप रहा हूँ मधुशाला।

Team Outing- Savandurga
On Sunday we finally had our team-outing trek to savandurga.The outing was TTMM bcoz of financial crises (never excepted to it affect at this micro-level)..
Savandurga is really a nice trekking place..
we all decided to start from Dolur at 7 in morning..now for a late riser like me this is very difficult..somehow i got up at 6..thanks to Srikanth his call woke me up..
Everybody gathered at C block..n we started at around 9 after having breakfast at Domlur..
Reached the place in one n half hour..n started the trek..
Savandurga is a single HARD rock..the slope is very steep in some parts of the trek...the height of the rock is about 1200 mts..there are also ,many trees on your way to the top..
people got really tired to climb the huge rock..It took about one n half hour to climb..Many people loose there way while going up;we didnt thnx to
our little guide..
on the way we saw the place where khempegowda had stayed..there was little temple sort-of thing on the way...at the top was the Nandi..
After completing the trek we visited a temple which was at the base of the rock..i forgot the name of the temple but even this temple was nice.
Then we had lunch at Kamat..now this place was really cool with great food...after lunch we went to see the big Banayan tree..in true sense it is BIG..
It is the single big tree which i think is spreaded over about 40-45 mts of radius..
it was a very good place to rest...though we didn't rest much bcoz it was getting late..n made our way for the return..
returned back around 7 in evening...really a it was a nice one day trip..
All credit goes to Srikanth n Bharathi of my team for arranging such a nice trip..hope to have more in future..

we all decided to start from Dolur at 7 in morning..now for a late riser like me this is very difficult..somehow i got up at 6..thanks to Srikanth his call woke me up..
Everybody gathered at C block..n we started at around 9 after having breakfast at Domlur..
Reached the place in one n half hour..n started the trek..
Savandurga is a single HARD rock..the slope is very steep in some parts of the trek...the height of the rock is about 1200 mts..there are also ,many trees on your way to the top..

Town- Bangalore rockss...
Past many days i wanted to write my views about Bangalore city. It has been more then 3 months for me in Bangalore now..
One thing that got my attention as soon as i entered Bangalore or rather Bengaluru was the large number of temple the city has.In number of temples it is same as Nashik ('city of temples').Another fact about Banagalore is the usage of English language;i have been to many cities in india but i think bangalore has the max.The city is full of trees.People here dont cut a tree even if its right in front of there shop or there home. i found many such places.
I found many ppl using an 'aa' after every word they pronounce... even i have started to
do that :-)
next big things are the Malls of Bangalore..they simply rock.Though the prices are sky high they are very crowded in weekends with many good looking girls in them ;-) (i think u got the reason why they are crowded). Visited many places in bangalore like the Vidhan soudha (its the legislative assembly of KA),high court (the guard didn't allow us to go inside
the campus :-)), Cubbon park-it was great;all beautifull trees all over n grass lawns, Lalbag-all beautifull flowers, then went also visited the Iscon temple.
The Science musium was amasing...if i would have visited that a decade before..may be then i would have studied Physics for rest of my life..
Also there are many multiplexes in bangalore...we have one in my Jayanagar area
called SRP.. :-) n i proudly say SRP rocks.. :-)
Kaveri (i dont know y they write it as Cauvery) water tastes great.
The SLV restaurants are nice...in fact they are the food-line of my life in Bangalore :)
The people are good..they are very helpfull..whenever they will tell u an address they wil use the terms 'go straaighttt', 'Dead-end' :) Its easier to search for a place if its somewhere
near a Bar.. :-)
During weekends i do only 2 things Sleep and play cricket near our place... Anna is always enthu for playing Cricket..yeah also Big Bazar shooping..
The land rates over here are sky high and they are constantly rising..but with the sub-prime crises i expect the rate of increase to get lowered..
One thing i think Bangalore badly needs is the local train transport as soon as possible.It is difficult for only bus trasport to handle this huge public.That will also be done with time.
Bangalore is thus a very good city to live in...

Trip to Mysore
So after a month of planning(actually even more) finally last weekend we all college friends went to Mysore. We decided to leave EARLY morning at 7:00 am so some of us went to Patil's place for staying a day before.There we all had lots bappas and slept only for 3 hours.morning we all left the place at 6 am.(trip ko jaane se pahele achhe se soke jao nahi to bahot lagti hai :-))
we reached majestic at 6:45am.The train was at 7. but other friends had not arrived yet.so even after a wakeup of 5 hours early of my normal sheduled we missed that train.some how a guy came to us n asked us whether we want a collis for mysore we agreed n started for mysore.
The road to mysore was really nice..there were coconut trees all through..we had break fast in between..the tea there was nice..or may be we relatively left that way bcoz the Idli was very bor :-)
Than we went to Infy campus in mysore..n met our friends over there...then we went to the Zoo(To see our friends :) )..The zoo was really nice all possible animals were there in the zoo.We saw birds over there...now these birds were really unhappy for they were been kept in Cage n were not allowed to fly freely...there i thought all we civilised people living in democracy talk of freedom now n then..what about freedom of these birds?they too have the same right to fly freely.. the animals were relatively happy over there ..saw a big tiger (he saw 25 meters away)..saw Elephant..snakes..crocodile..n many more..then we went to Brindavan garden(which we all were calling as Vrindavan)..it was really a great site all beautiful flowers and musical fountains...it was very crowded.. but still it was great...Due to lack of time We were not able to see some places like the Maharaja Palace..
Then eat dinner there only in mysore someplace. n came back...
Driver did the Natakpanti while coming.but some how we got home..
Saw really a great trip..hope to have more of such kind in future.. :-)
